First I would like to say that Mike from the ER was an amazing MA/ nurse. Made my son feel very comfortable and answered all 1000 questions that he had. Another person from the ER i forgot his name, but he's tall, white hair and wears glasses. He's an older guy. He made my son the best turkey sandwich and shared amazing stories. Last but not least is Jessica from the 2nd floor surgical unit. She was just flat out amazing and very caring and understanding. Thank you guys so much for providing the care and going above and beyond to give "Moof" the best bedside care. You guys rock!!!

I was in the ER for some heart issues. I was taken back quickly and had the two best nurses, Kaye and Ellen. They took great care of me and eased my fears. Dr. Saadeh and Dr. Schroeder were very competent and explained all my options to me and made me feel better and not so anxious. I was lucky to be in their care!

I received a very good care team ED provider, Dr. Blake, Nurse Kelly & Julia. The Dr. was very caring, concern, & knowledgeable about my situation took the time to explain & look into further treatments about my health. The two nurses Kelly and Julia did not just let me lie there as time passed, but really made sure I was comfortable. They checked on me often and asked if I needed anything. I never experienced such a kind and caring hospital visit as this one. I would like to say: Thank you UH for for such a well presented team.

Nice cafeteria, and the mini coffee shop by the main entrance serves nice cappuccino. The main cafeteria also offers a free kids' meal program this summer, which is a wonderful initiative. Overall, I've received good service at the hospital over the years, and most staff have been friendly, respectful, and helpful. However, during recent visits in the cafeteria, I felt that (some black) employees were less welcoming toward me and my children when we used the free kids' meal program, even though we buy other food also. As a Muslim woman who wears hijab and long veil, the way we were treated left me feeling uncomfortable and with a negative impression of those individuals. Hopefully; they do not represent everyone, and most employees continue to provide respectful and responsive service to us. * sometimes the red meat is not cooked very well, but they still insist its okay! ( picture attached). * today's offer was the loneliest kids meal I've ever seen in this program 🥲 but no problem; I'm still thankful. Today kids meal didn’t taste good. thanks!

Great experience from start to finish. The staff in the ED (Lorraine, Lydia, Abbie, Dr. Quinn, Eric Chatel, Holly, Maria (xray)) took incredible care of him. Even Dr. Fort who didn't have him stopped to check in. Once upstairs, the 3rd floor took wonderful care of him! Anna(Nurse Manager), Renee-RN, Heather-RN, Ralph-Volunteer, Dr. Ramicone and his NP, Georgetta-EVS, Dietary....ALL were great at answering questions, explaining new meds, and discharge instructions. Every hour, someone was checking on him to see if he needed anything. I definitely forgot a few names but everyone truly was great!
